With over 25 years of design and development experience RSA Technology has the ability to turn initial ideas into hardware and software solutions quickly and cost effectively, including rapid initial prototyping and small volume production.
And of course RSA Technology is able to provide technical consultancy and critical analysis of complex problems using Octave and MatLab.
Projects range from simple interface and power supply circuits to complex digital video and audio boards with over 4000 surface mount components.
Circuit board design and layout generally uses the minimum number of PCB layers compatible with the required performance to minimise bare board and manufacturing costs. In practise this makes the end product much easier to debug and repair, and designed for manufacture.
Many of RSA Technology's projects involve embedded real-time software including customised versions of Linux and low level firmware for a variety processors and microcontrollers developed in parallel with the hardware design.
In addition RSA Technology has the expertise to develop software for Windows, Linux and Android operating systems either as stand alone applications or plug-ins and dlls for other much larger systems, for example NicheRMS Custody Management software.
More recently, with the widespread adoption of FDM manufacturing RSA Technology has developed design for 3D printing skills, to make instrument enclosures, glider battery boxes and even small parts for sewing machine and classic car repairs!
